    Quinton Oaks Golf Course Review

The Quinton Oaks Golf Course is most famous for its rounds that play in 4 hours or less, which is a rarity in todays golf. Add to that excellent turf conditions and very affordable rates and youll have the definition of a winner of sorts. The Quinton Oaks Golf Course is located in Callao Virginia and boasts an 18 hole championship track which stretches across a pristine piece of real estate, rolling farmland to be more precise and each of its holes features a unique character, making for the purest golf experience possible. Another distinctive feature of the Quinton Oaks Golf Course is the fact that there are no fairway bunkers, which makes it very player friendly and if you think thats weird, just consider that the Olympic Club Lake course which hosted 5 US Opens doesnt have fairway bunkers either.

However, youll encounter short distances between the tees and the greens and shallow greenside bunkers for easy escape. Designed by a virtually unknown architect, Dean Sumner respectively, the Quinton Oaks Golf Course was first opened for players in 1992 and it became very popular due to its uneven lies, undulating terrain and large greens, providing lots of fun for its visitors. The course features 6132 yards from its back tees for a 71 par in a Parkland style design, with a course rating of 67.4 and a slope rating of 118 on Bermuda grass, offering terrific views and a great overall experience for golfers of all skill levels. To put it simply, the Quinton Oaks can be described as the perfect place for beginner and intermediate golfers looking for having a good time on a great off the beaten path course.
