Vokey Completes WedgeWorks Line with 54, 56-degree D Grind wedges

Vokey is a big name in the golf industry and their latest product launch, the 54 and 56-degree D Grind wedges, is great news for the brand aficionados. As the title reads, the new gear from Vokey basically completes the popular WedgeWorks line via Bob Vokey’s 54.12 D and 56.12 D models. As you may already know, Bob Vokey is the company’s master craftsman, and according to Titleist (who owns Vokey in case you haven’t noticed by now), the brand spanking new 54.12 D and 56.12 D wedges are perfectly in tune with Bob’s raison d’etre of crafting a mid-to-low bounce lob wedge along with a higher bounce sand wedge to match anyone’s dream setup. Here’s Bob Vokey talking about his latest work:

“During most of my fittings, I’m striving to fit the player into two different grinds. We always fit based on how the player uses their wedges, but my preference is notably a high bounce sand wedge and mid-to-low bounce lob wedge, so they have the versatility to face all different types of shots and conditions. Bringing the D Grind to the 54 and 56 degree models opens up a great new fitting opportunity in these sand wedge lofts.”

Both models can be fully customized to match one’s personal preference and style, and speaking of fashion conscious golfers, the 54.12 D and 56.12 D wedges allow personalized stamping, i.e. you can stamp up to ten characters onto your wedge (luv u mum for example), and choose 1 of the twelve paint fill colors. Speaking of making your own-personal wedge, it doesn’t get much better than that folks. But wait, the customization frenzy doesn’t stop here, as Vokey allows you to choose from a plethora of grips, shafts, ferrules and shaft bands. Finally, the new Vokey WedgeWorks 54.12 D and 56.12 D wedges are already available for purchase on the company’s official website via their special WedgeWorks program, or by custom order. And don’t worry; they’re very decently priced at $195.
