The latest Ping Vault 2.0 series putters are built (100% milled) and designed to provide you with unparalleled performance and touch due to the company’s patented (and Tour proven) tech innovations. All of the putters in the Vault 2.0 lineup boast Ping’s proprietary True Roll Technology, a brand new custom weighing system, and they’re also precision milled to perfection. One of the most important features of the Ping Vault 2.0 putters is their brand new weighting system, that offers three different sole weight options. The standard weight head uses steel, then comes tungsten, which is fifteen grams heavier, and finally aluminum, which is obviously lighter than the standard (15 grams lighter). With all these options on the table, you can rest assured you can fine-tune your putter to match your balance/feel preference, which will translate into more consistency on the greens.
All the putters in the Vault 2.0 lineup boast Ping’s state of the art True Roll face pattern, and they’re individually milled. The face pattern varies in pitch and depth across the face, thus improving ball speed on off center hits, thus promoting fewer 3-putts. There are six putters available in the Ping Vault 2.0 lineup: Dale Anser, Voss, B60, ZB, Piper and Ketsch, and they’re available in 3 distinct finishes: stealth black, platinum and copper. The Voss, Dale Anser and B60 can be described as classic variations (design wise) of heel-toe weighted blades, and each weighs 350 grams. The ZB is a blade aimed at better players, while the Piper and the Ketsch are mid-sized mallets with a high moment of inertia. Bottom line, the Ping Vault 2.0 putter range can be described as a significant upgrade compared to the first generation, especially due to the sole-weights option, which makes for a nice addition for golfers looking to custom-fit their gear, in order to squeeze the last ounce of performance. The styling of these putters and their simple colorway/design looks classy and actually justifies their relatively hefty price tag. The modern face-grooves and the classic styling makes for an interesting combo in a milled metal putter that looks and feels great, making for yet another awesome Ping product.
