Ted Potter is an American professional golfer who currently plays on the PGA Tour. What’s very interesting about Potter is that he’s naturally right handed, yet he is a left handed golfer. Despite this peculiarity, Ted Potter won the PGA Tour 2 times, and the same goes for Web.com Tour, where he won twice. Potter is often described as a mini tour legend and a career journeyman golf player. His father instilled the love for golf in little Ted, as he was a golf course maintenance professional, now retired. Ted Potter started playing golf at an early age (he was 2 years old), and he also played intensively through high school.
Instead of attending college, Ted Potter chose to focus on golf, managing to become a professional player at the age of 19. In 2012, immediately after joining the PGA Tour, Ted Potter won the Greenbrier Classic, and in 2018 he scored his second PGA Tour victory of his career, winning the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Ted’s career earnings are north of 5 million dollars and it’s worth mentioning that he did not learn to play golf via formal lessons, as he was taught by his father.
