The TaylorMade AeroBurner TP Rescue golf club is basically the regular AeroBurner Rescue featuring a slightly different design, i.e. a flatter lie, a longer hosel and a vaster open face angle. All these things give this golf club a more aerodynamic shape, especially due to its shallow face and raised center crown. There’s also a new hosel fin which was designed to further reduce drag during enthusiastic swings (read faster speeds). The Speed Pocket was redesigned too thus the size of the sweet spot was enhanced, with the end result being a reduction in the ball spin during takeoff and more forgiveness for off center hits.
In terms of looks, the TaylorMade AeroBurner TP Rescue comes with a matte white finish which looks pretty cool and a black face made of PVD. The shaft is provided by Matrix Ozik White Tie HX4, the grip wears the signature of Lamkin UTx while the retail price for this “made for speed” baby is $289.99. In conclusion, the AeroBurner TP Rescue has a terrific noise/impressive feel at impact (it sounds quite loud and brittle), offers an above-average distance, a stylish look and ease of use, making for a good addition for your golf bag.
