New Hampshire born Aaron Baddeley has lived in Australia since the age of two. As an adult he now has joint citizenship. Baddeley currently lives in Melbourne with his wife Richelle and their daughters Jewell and Jolee. When he isn’t playing golf Baddeley enjoys spending time with his family, as well as participating in all types of sport, reading, go-karting and fishing. His Aaron Baddeley International Junior Championshipm, which began in 2001, is one of the most successful junior championships in the world.

One of the most consistent putters on the PGA circuit, Baddeley credits his strong Christian faith for helping him through the good and bad times in the sport. His golf career started promisingly, as the youngest ever player to represent Australia in the Eisenhower Trophy. After turning professional in 2000, he went on to win the Greg Norman Holden International in Australia in 2001.

After an exceptional start to his golfing career Baddeley became somewhat overshadowed by fellow Australian Adam Scott. He slid up and down the rankings until 2006 when he won his first PGA Tour event at the Verizon Heritage. It seemed as though his star was going to continue rising when he won his second PGA Tour event in 2007 and rose through the world rankings where he entered the top 20. At this point Baddeley seemed destined for great things in future seasons.

Unfortunately the improvement in Baddeley’s form failed to last, as he struggled to emerge from the lower echelons of the top 125. Returning to form in 2011, Baddeley won the Northern Trust Open in California. The same year he was also chosen by Greg Noman as wild card pick for the Presidents Cup team. It seemed as though he had turned a corner in both form and luck.

As of the end of 2014 Baddeley had played on 306 PGA Tour events. He has had three PGA Tour wins and has amassed total prize money of $16,977,493. His tour ranking for 2014 was 102.
