Jim Clark and his hole in one

Last Friday, October 6, 2023, while golfing in The Villages, Florida, where we now live, I got my first hole in one.  I took up golfing about 3 years ago, using borrowed clubs for a year before purchasing a great set of Thomas Golf clubs. I have been playing twice a week for a while and then last Friday I used my #8 Hybrid to stroke a hole in one.  This was on a course called Southern Star here in The Villages.  Hole #7, par 3, and the diHole in one by Jim Clarkstance was 123 yards with a slightly elevated green, so I ended up seeing the ball disappear into the cup.  What a site!  Love the game and love my clubs – I am a “sweeper striker” and rely on my hybrids for a lot of my shots.  Even use a Hybrid Sand wedge as well.  Attached are two pictures from that great moment.  Thanks for the opportunity for me to tell my story.  Play on everyone.
