The Ping Scottsdale TR Putter Series are built with a clear purpose in mind: to offer you unparalleled ball speeds and consistency, shot after shot, round after round, all across the face, thanks to their precision milled face insert, which plays a huge role when it comes to holing more putts, while reducing three puts significantly. Also, the Ping Scottsdale TR Putter Series are fully adjustable to suit your style, coming with both fixed and adjustable length shafts. All the putters in the Ping Scottsdale TR Putter Series feature a beautiful and minimalistic design, in a black PVD finish, a variable depth groove technology insert, multiple shaft options for stroke type fitting and 12 head shapes.

After playing a few rounds with these babies, I must confess that Ping's latest technological innovation for custom fit putting is absolutely amazing. The thicker grip and the extra weight in the Ping Scottsdale TR Putter Series really boosts confidence on the golf course, like never before. Another amazing thing is that it almost doesn't matter where the ball hits the face, you'll end up with truer puts than ever before, better distance and control, together with loads of forgiveness, due to the specially designed/engineered groove insert. The optimized fitting options in the Ping Scottsdale TR Putter Series play a big role when It comes to consistency, but these putters are not just about getting the perfect length. Each and every one of the twelve models available in the Ping Scottsdale TR Putter Series features the new-high tech variable depth groove insert, which leads to more consistent ball speeds all across the face, even if you struck the ball towards the toe or the heel. These specially designed grooves are deeper in the middle of the face, and they get progressively shallower towards the perimeter, and boy, they really make a difference. I absolutely love the feel of the Ping Scottsdale TR Putter Series, and that's due to the special inserts, which really put a nice roll on the ball, and make the putters feel lively, while retaining their traditional soft feel. Also, for the first time in history, the edges of the face insert feel even hotter than the center, and that's pretty wild in my book. Ping really did the unthinkable: they created a putter insert that produces similar results/roll distances regardless of where you hit it, and this translates into more consistency than ever before, i.e. a great feature for both the pro golfer or the amateur.
