A highly accomplished amateur, Tommy Fleetwood is working towards becoming an emerging star on the European Tour.

A native of England, Fleetwood won the 2009 Scottish Amateur Stroke Play Championship. He rose to #3 in the R&A’s Amateur Golf World Rankings. He represented England and Ireland in the 2009 Walker Cup.

Fleetwood turned professional in 2010 and began his career on the Challenge Tour. Fleetwood got a breakthrough win at the Kazakhstan Open in September 2011 on the Challenge Tour and the rich purse allowed him to secure his tour card for the 2012 European Tour season.

Fleetwood struggled in his rookie campaign, before rallying sufficiently enough in the fall of 2012 to retain his tour card for another season.

In 2013, Fleetwood captured his first win on the European Tour, capturing the Johnny Walker Championship at Gleneagles in a three-way playoff. Fleetwood birdied the first extra hole and defeated Stephen Gallacher and Ricardo Gonzalez.

Fleetwood played very consistently in 2014. He recorded 7 top ten performances, three runner-up finishes and ended 19th in the “Race to Dubai.” He also ended the year #51 in the Official World Golf Rankings.

Fleetwood hit one of the top highlight shots of the 2015 European Tour season at the prestigious BMW PGA Championship. He holed his second shot on the par 5 4th hole for a double eagle or “albatross.”

Fleetwood will look to record his first top ten performance in a Major championship as the 2015 campaign continues.

Tommy signed a long-term contract with Nike in 2010, the year he turned professional.
