    Born in Artesia, New Mexico, in 1958, LeBrun first became interested in golf when his father took him to play after he became burned out from playing too much baseball. Since then LeBrun has never stopped playing, turning professional in 1981. He often speaks about his most memorable moment on the course being holing out the 17th and 18th fairways at the Cox Classic.

    Away from the course LeBrun still takes part in baseball games and is a fan of sport in general, following the Miami Hurricanes and Dolphins, the Boston Celtics and the Atlanta Braves. LeBrun is also a big fan of peanut and jelly sandwiches which he often has with him. He is a supporter of his local church and of the American Cancer Society.
    As of the end of 2014, LeBrun had not achieved any wins on the PGA Tour, amassing total prize money of $369,136.
