Stephan Jaeger is a German golf-pro, who attended the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga where he played collegiate golf. After turning professional in 2012, Stephan Jaeger managed to qualify for the 2015 US Open and in 2017, he ranked 12th on 2017 Web.com Tour’s priority list for the PGA Tour. Despite being born in Germany, Stephan Jaeger immigrated to the US as an exchange student back in 2006, when he was 17. As he was attending the Baylor School in Chattanooga in his junior year, his high school teammates were Keith Mitchell and Harris English, who are both playing in the PGA Tour.
Stephan grew up playing soccer and tennis, then unexpectedly turned to golf. While his family remains in Germany to this day, he still speaks German perfectly, and loves racing and fast cars along with more “benign” activities, such as hockey, soccer and fishing. If not for golf, he’d be a rally driver. Stephan Jaeger boasts 3 professional wins: the Ellie Mae Classic in 2016, the BMW Charity Pro-Arm in 2017 and the Rust Oleum championship (the same year).
