    Born in York, England in 1977, Dyson turned professional in 1999 and has gone on to play in both Europe and the USA. Dyson has also played on the Asian Toured where he was named Rookie of the Year in 2000 after achieving three victories in his first season. Dyson’s career has mainly seen him competing in Europe where he won his first title in 2006, at the Jakarta Indonesia Open. Not long after, he was victorious at the KLM Open. As a result of these two wins, Dyson raised into the top 100 of the World Rankings.

    2009 was Dyson’s best year on the European Tour. During this season he won at the KLM Open for a second time. He also achieved victory at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. Dyson completed the season positioned eighth in the Race to Dubai standings.

    2011 saw Dyson achieving a fifth win on the European Tour, at the Irish Open. As a result of this win, Dyson earned himself an invite to the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational which was taking place the following week. He also broke into the Top 50 of golf’s World Rankings. The same year Dyson again won at the KLM Open and he moved into the Top 30 of the World Rankings, for the first time in his career. 

    Although he won born in York, Dyson now lives in Manchester, England together with his wife Lyndsey who he married in 2010. Away from golf he is a huge fan of Manchester United FC.

    As of the end of 2014, Dyson had achieved no wins on the PGA Tour, amassing total prize money of $729,486.
