Fisher is a British golfer, who was born in Ascot, Berkshire, England in 1980. After leaving Charters School in Wentworth, Fisher turned professional in 2004 and went on to join the European Tour in 2006, after earning his card to play on the Challenge Tour, the previous year. The following year he achieved victory at the KLM Open. This win helped him to finish the season in 43rd place on the Order of Merit.
Fisher achieved further success when he was victorious at the European Open. He played consistently for the rest of the season, and ended in sixth place on the Order of Merit. Fisher continued to display reasonable form in 2009, as indicated by his semi-final placing at the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship in Arizona. That same year, he also finished in second place at the BMW PGA Championship. At the US Open that year Fisher finished in fifth place, after being in contention for the win during the final round.
The following year, Fisher was a member of the European Ryder Cup Team that secured a victory against the United States, at Celtic Manor. It took until 2014 for Fisher to win for the fifth time on the European Tour, when he was victorious at the Tshwane Open.
Away from the course Fisher is a family man. He is married to Joanne and the couple has two children, Eve and Harry.
As of the end of 2014, was yet to achieve a victory on the PGA Tour, but had amassed prize money of $1,164,689.
