Richy Werenski is an American golf-pro, born and raised in Massachusetts. He attended Heritage Academy in Hilton Head Island, S.C. and comes from a family of golf aficionados, as his father used to be a PGA club-pro, while his brother was part of the Texas A&M golf team. At Georgia Tech, Richy Werenski played a lot of college golf and in 2012 he won the Porter Cup. After graduating from college, Richy turned pro in 2014 and in the same year he won 2 pro-events, the Vermont Open and the Cutter Creek Classic on the NGA Pro Golf Tour; later on in 2014 he added another trophy to his paraphernalia, as he scored an NGA Pro Golf Tour win.

This series of victories brought his 2015 Web.com Tour card. His first win on the Web.com Tour took place in 2016, at the 2016 BMW Charity Pro-Am. Richy joined the PGA Tour in 2017 and he’s currently ranked 106th in 2016-17 FedExCup points, having earned 1.4 million dollars so far from golfing. Besides golf, he loves fishing, hunting and dirty biking. If it wasn’t for golf, he’d be an investment banker, or at least that’s what he dreams of.
