Fraustro turned pro in 2006 and plied his trade on ma y of the different Tour to be found in North and South America including the Canadian and LatinoAmerican Tours. His first full season on the Web.com Tour came in 2013. He won his card after finishing 2nd on the LatinoAmerican Tour in 2012 where he won once (at the Dominican Republic Open and was runner-up on three occasions. In his rookie season on the Web.com Tour Fraustro played in 24 events, making the cut on ten occasions. He would register two top 10 finishes with a best result coming at the Cox Classic Presented by Lexus of Omaha where he was a tie for 9th. He would end his rookie season 79th on the money list.
His second year on the Web.com Tour brought him more success. The Mexican had three top 10s during the regular season with a best result of tied 5th at the Brasil Champions Presented by HSBC. He captured his first ever PGA Tour card at the season ending Web.com Tour Finals where he finished 28th and thereby capturing his card.
So far in his rookie season on the PGA Tour, Fraustro has played 21 times, making the cut in seven of those events. His sole top 10 finish came at the OHL Classic at Mayakoba where he was a tie for 9th place. It looks likely that he will lose his card and have to return to the Web.com Tour for the 2016 season.
