Grayson Murray is an American pro-golfer who won over $2.4 million over his relatively short career as a professional. Murray said that if it weren’t for golf, he would be a golf course architect, and that’s due to his earliest golf memory: when he was 9 years old he met Arnold Palmer. During his youth golf-years, Grayson Murrey won 3 consecutive Callaway Junior Championships and he was also the top ranked golfer in the US in his age group. While competing for Leesville Road High School, Murray won both individual and team state title.
After graduation, he attended East Carolina University, Wake Forest University, and finally Arizona State University. Murray started playing as an amateur in the 2013 US Open, and then earned conditional status on the Web.com Tour in 2016. After turning pro in 2015, Grayson Murray won the Web.com Tour 2016 Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship and afterwards, he saw his first PGA Tour victory at the Barbasol Championship on July 23, 2017.
