Jones is an Australian golfer who has played on both the Japan and PGA Tours. He was born and raised in West Wyalong, New South Wales, before turning professional as a golfer in 1999.

Over the years Jones has spent the majority of his professional career playing on the Japan Tour where he has achieved thirteen wins. Jones played on the PGA Tour in 2005 but he didn’t win enough money to retain his card, despite finishing in joint second place at the B.C. Open.

Back playing on the Japan Tour in 2007, Jones achieved three wins, and featured in the top one hundred of the world rankings.

As of the end of 2014, Jones has yet to achieve a win on the PGA Tour, but has amassed prize money of $656,715.
