Ben Silverman is a Canadian professional golfer, a thirty year old who only started playing golf seriously when he was 16. As soon as he became a golf aficionado, he set it as a personal goal to be on the PGA Tour by the time he was thirty. He managed to do it at 29. Currently speaking, Ben Silverman plays in the PGA Tour as he achieved the 18th position on 2017 Tour priority list. Before golf, Ben Silverman was completely in love with hockey, which is quite normal for a Canadian. He actually played hockey competitively until he was 15 years of age.

In high-school, he also played a bit of basketball, baseball, cross country running and ultimate frisbee. At 16, he decided to become a golf pro and in his first Canadian Junior Golf Association tournament he shot 118. His wife Morgan was also his caddy, and she caddied for Ben as he was playing on the Web.com Tour in 2017. She did that until she was 4 and a half months pregnant. While playing on the Web.com Tour, Ben won the 2017 Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper. Prior to that, he won the 2013 Maccbiah Games [Israel] and the Mackenzie Tour – Canada in 2014 as a Q school graduate. Ben Silverman joined the PGA Tour in 2018 and finished 13-under 269 (T8) at the RSM Classic and T7 at 9-under 279 at the Sanderson Farms Championship.
