Also, the second-gen COR2 technology produces an improved energy transfer which means faster (by 1-2 miles per hour) ball speeds, and an overall increase in performance. The PXG 0311 X GEN2 driving irons have more COR2 material injected in the upper/middle/lower zones of the body, due to their larger milled cavity, and this innovation enhances distance, feel, forgiveness and accuracy compared to the previous generation. Moreover, the sweet-spot is now bigger, yet without changing the size of the face, thus improving mishit performance and producing faster ball speeds. To increase the moment of inertia and to create the perfect launch conditions, the PXG 0311 X GEN2 drivers feature perimeter weighting technology via high-density tungsten weights strategically located around the perimeter of the club head.
