Often practiced during informal rounds, groups playing “ready golf” do not observe “honors” on the tee, allowing golfers to hit whenever they’re ready. This may extend to the fairway and green as well, where a ready player can hit before a golfer who is farther from the hole. Ready golf is intended to speed the pace of play.
