Tiger Woods’ historic win at the 2019 Masters brought him his fifteenth major title, and interestingly enough, he won one of the most important tournaments of his long and fruitful career using a Bridgestone Tour B XS golf ball. The world-renowned golf equipment manufacturer is now congratulating Tiger Woods by releasing a special limited edition of the Tour B XS, a special box of sorts with Tiger Woods’ name on it, obviously. So if you love Tiger Woods and you’re looking for an awesome collectible, well, tough luck for you, and we’re not kidding either.
The story goes like this: the commemorative Tiger Woods’ Toour B XS golf ball has become available back in April 26th, in the shape and form of the TW (Tiger Woods) Wrap Box. The TW Wrap Box hit the shelves at the very affordable price tag of $44.99, and what do you know: it was an instant hit, commercially speaking, i.e. it sold out in less than 24 hours. On top of that, according to a company spokesman, all Bridgestone B XS balls available have been sold to retailers in a very short period of time.
So, yeah, Tiger Woods’ is not only one of the greatest golf players in history, but also one of the best salesmen for golf equipment companies. And speaking of the latter, the TW Wrap Box is not the first time when Bridgestone released a limited-edition box of their legendary Tour B XS in order to celebrate their fruitful relationship with Tiger Woods. Back in March last year, Bridgestone offered a cool Tour B XS golf ball, an anniversary edition of sorts, with “Tiger” written on the side. Moreover, a big chunk of the profits were donated to the TGR Foundation, which is very nice on Bridgestone's part.
Just to refresh your memory, the Bridgestone Tour B XS is a premium and highly advanced golf ball which features a 3-piece construction and a state of the art urethane cover, being designed to please the best golfers in the world, i.e. the Tour B XS is everything about soft feel and increased distance, being the ideal choice for fast swing golfers like Tiger Woods. The Tour B XS has a 75 compression, i.e. it’s significantly softer compared to the Tour B X, which has an 85 compression.
