We have good news for women golfers, as TaylorMade just revealed recently the new Kalea range, featuring a brand spanking new set of 11 clubs, which are crafted using the company’s latest and greatest technologies. The focus of the new Kalea range of golf gear for women is on delivering maximum performance through the set, as each club was specifically designed to provide amazing easy to launch performance via optimizing club head speed. Basically, each club in the set has been improved and optimized for lofts, lengths and proper gapping, with the end result being a true full set designed to help lady golfers with improving their game.
As we already told you, TaylorMade used all the tricks in the book in the new Kalea golf line, including their high-tech bells and whistles, such as the famous Speed Pocket technology, which offers more flexibility on hits low on the face, an interesting design gimmick that helps with both launch and forgiveness. The center of gravity was also lowered, being now located lower/further back in the head, and that contributes to forgiveness and improved launch.
What’s really interesting is the new Kalea ULTRALITE graphite shaft, which is lighter and softer than ever before, and it can be found in the metal woods and irons. This particular choice of materials allows for reducing overall weight in the clubs, and delivers softer flex, thus working wonders in increasing club head speed, a very important feature for women golfers. It’s also worth mentioning that each of the following clubs in the Kalea line comes fitted with Lamkin’s Sonar Lite 43.5g (woods & irons) and the Lamkin Deep Etched grip (putter): Driver – 12°, Fairway Woods – 17° (3) & 20° (5), Rescue™ – 26° (#5) & 30° (#6), Irons – 7 – PW & SW – RRP 5-piece set and the Spider Mini Putter with Pure Roll™ insert.
Obviously, since we’re talking golf gear for women, TaylorMade also revealed a new Kalea golf bag, which basically complements the Kalea line of clubs, and it’s specially crafted to harbor safely all your golf gear, being basically a lightweight and classy 14-way cart bag. The golf bag can be ordered in various color ways, including charcoal/blue, grey/green and black/violet. On top of that, you can also order a FlexTech stand bag option, which is only available in grey/green.
But wait, there’s more to Kalea than meets the eye: enter Kalea Golf Balls, which round up the Kalea line-up 2019. The new golf balls are specifically designed for women and they’re built using a 2-piece construction with a high-energy React™ core, TaylorMade’s patented technology that is, plus low compression (60) and a soft ionomer cover. The new Kalea golf balls are engineered to deliver unmatched distance and a high trajectory, as well as soft feel into the green and maximum distance off the tee. The new golf balls are already available at retail shops worldwide and they can be purchased in white, peach and purple color ways, with the peach/purple versions featuring a matte finish which is also UV resistant.
