The original M-Series of compact trolleys from Motocaddy dates way back to 2013. At the time, Motocaddy made history, as the first M-Series were the smallest folding electric golf-trolleys in the industry. Since then, five years have come to pass, and Motocaddy took the world by storm with the revamped and improved new 2018 M-Series, boasting a fresh new design and, most importantly, a brand spanking new M5 Connect model. There are three models to choose from: the Motocaddy M1, M3 and M5, the flagship, and the frame on all three compact trolleys has been redesigned. The new M-Series are engineered to be remarkably compact, as per Motocaddy's chairman David Wells own words, boasting an eleven percent smaller footprint compared to their nearest competitor. Their compact design make the 2018 M-Series the ideal choice for golfers with limited storage space. Also, the technological advances in battery technology allowed Motocaddy to use lighter/smaller power-plants for their 2018 M-Series line of compact trolleys. An obvious advantage of using smaller batteries in the new M-Series is visible at first sight: these compact trolleys boast a cutting-edge/streamlined design, and on top of that, you can charge their batteries while still on board, i.e. your life will now be a lot easier compared to the previous generations. All three models are built with aluminum frames, and they feature a front wheel, that neatly tucks under the frames, thus making for a more compact shape, and a simple folding handle, all adding to a more compact shape compared to previous models.

The state of the art lithium batteries powering the new M1, M3 and M5 compact trolleys is 33 percent smaller compared to their direct competitors, yet in the same time twice as powerful, due to Motocaddy's new-gen 28V high-power system, which powers a 230W electric-motor, that features a built-in safety cut out system and it's very easy to control via the company's proprietary dial on the handle. The star of the 2018 M-Series lineup is the M5 Connect trolley, which comes fully packed with all the bells and whistles you may expect from a state of the art piece of gear, including Bluetooth connectivity, which allows it to connect your trolley with the Motocaddy's free GPS app, thus enabling you to see distances and various other information on the screen located on the soft handle, i.e. directly on your trolley. The Motocaddy GPS app will provide you with distance data on more than 40,000 golf-courses from all around the world, and will also deliver alerts for calls, texts, emails and social-media notifications. The Motocaddy M5 Connect is available in 2 colorways: Black and Alpine white frame, with the blue trim and an optional extended battery. The new versions of the Motocaddy M1 and M3 electric trolleys are built using the same frame as the M5, and they also feature the company's patented Easilock bag system, which is designed to secure the base of your golf-bag sans using a strap. The 2018 M1 model is available in either Black or Alpine colorways, with red trim, and boasts a new LCD display. A DHC version is available (down hill control) in Graphite, which comes handy when going down slopes. There's an M3 Pro version, which also comes with the DHC feature, together with distance measurement functions, CartLock security pin code and information about the autonomy of the trolley.
