If you’re one of Costco’s customers who bought recently Kirkland Signature four-piece balls, the good news is that you’re now eligible for a full refund, no questions asked, after the company started reaching out to its customers of the respective product via email. The first generation of Costco’s Kirkland Signature four-piece balls was introduced back in 2016 and it was a huge success, a best seller of sorts, as those golf balls provided a lot of bang for the buck asked, and truth be told, they were pretty good. The second generation launched last summer, in 2019 respectively, was not that good unfortunately, being plagued by manufacturing (quality control) issues; the main problem was the ball’s cover, which according to many customers, started cutting up/peeling after short use.

To make things even worse, the new Kirkland Signature four-piece balls have a pathetic rating on Costco’s website, being currently rated like Zimbabwe’s sovereign debt, standing at 2 out of 5 stars. According to a Twitter user who goes by the @gerencher handle, Costco is currently actively refunding its unhappy customers, and the company even released an official press release of sorts which reads:


“Feedback we received since the item went on sale shows that some of the balls do not meet the high standards that are expected for the Kirkland Signature brand.”

Costco is now offering people who bought the Kirkland Signature four-piece balls a full refund, including shipping costs, which is kind of nice on their part, and to make things even better, you won’t even have to return the items.
