Arccos just decided to rebrand its 360 Golf Performance Tracking System, which will be now known as Arccos Caddie Smart Sensors. This award winning technology consists of fourteen ultra-light sensors fitted onto one's club(s), and aimed at tracking your shots as they receive real time data in regard to every aspect of one's game. The data gathered by the sensors in real time is transmitted to your smartphone via a specially designed app, and from there in Arccos cloud, powered by Microsoft Azure, where it's analyzed and then sent back. And from now on, this almost magic technology will be rebranded as Arccos Caddie Smart Sensors. Why did Arccos make this decision? The best game analyzer to date, and I am talking about these high tech sensors of course, is now being redesigned, in order to showcase the benefits and features of Arccos' smart sensors in a better way, so the company decided to change their name along with their packaging. The idea behind the company's move is that renaming their flagship system would better align the current feature set to the product title, or something along these lines. Also, the Caddie Smart Sensors nomenclature would emphasize the system's capability to deliver golf players from all around the world with full/real-time access to Golf's smartest caddie. According to Arccos Golf's senior Director of Marketing Alex Green, the newly branded smart sensors reflect the company's commitment to use the power of artificial intelligence and data-gathering to help golfers make smarter (as in better) decisions, and improve their scores in the process.

It's worth mentioning that Arccos significantly upgraded its system over the past 3 months, as they introduced the second-gen Smart Caddie app for both Android and iOS. Despite the new name and new packaging, the technology remains basically the same, i.e. 14 ultra light sensors which are pretty much identical to the “old” Arccos 360 Golf Performance Tracking system. Also, during the brief transition period, both products will be available to customers world wide, through the usual retail channels. The Arccos 360 smartphone app will also have a new name, being rebranded as Arccos Caddie in both Google Play and Apple app stores. The latest generation of Arccos smart technology combines artificial intelligence with automatic data capture via its specially designed sensors, to help golfers improve their game faster than ever before, while having maximum fun on the golf course. Golfers using Arccos Caddie technology, which is powered by Microsoft Azure, boasted a 46x greater rate of improvement compared to the average golfer with a USGA handicap, by an average of 3.55 strokes as per 2017 data. Considering the dramatic game improvement brought by Arccos' technology to golf players from all around the world, the company was dubbed one of “World’s Most Innovative Companies 2018”by Fast Company. Besides Microsoft, Arccos also became an official partner of Cobra Puma Golf. The latter recently released its Cobra Connect smart set, powered by Arccos obviously, with every club in Cobra KING F8 line now boasting Arccos sensor technology inserted in the grip.
