The Holston Hills Country Club was built way back in 1927 and the golf course wears the signature of the famous architect Donald Ross, being one of the finest in the state of Tennessee and hosting most of the important regional golf championships. In 2010, the Holston Hills Country Club was ranked number fifty two by the reputable Golfweek Magazines top one hundred classic courses in the United States. Sitting on a beautiful piece of real estate in Knoxville besides the Holston River, the Holston Hills Country Club hosted lots of PGA events, like the Rebel Yell Open in 1968 or the Knoxville Invitational in the 40s.

The course features 7030 yards of golf from its longest tees for a 72 par and, as I already told you, its one of the very few Donald Ross courses which have remained basically unscathed.
