    Holly Ridge Golf Links

Restoring Links golf to the heart of North Carolina. Located just a short drive from High Point, Greensboro, and Winston- Salem, Holly Ridge is accessible from anywhere. Sitting at just over 6,600 yards, this par 72 layout is a true test of both mental and physical skill. Designed by Jim Bivins, and opened in 1994, Holly Ridge offers the unique opportunity to play a classic style course with a taste of the new age.

If you are looking for a tight, tree-lined layout, then turn away now. Holly Ridge is the complete opposite, and provides a very exciting atmosphere for golfers of all skill levels. The first few holes are very straight-forward, and you will have no issues navigating with a long iron off of the tee. The first test comes at the par 3 fourth hole, which has a strategically placed right in front of the green. The miss is long, and if you are able to find the green you will be rewarded with a fairly flat putt. The par 4 fifth hole provides you with the lone drive able par 4, but beware, if you do attempt to reach the green in one trouble awaits. A pond runs up the entire left side of the hole, and if you leave anything off of your driver, the water is not avoidable. The rest of the front 9 is pretty straight forward, and the par 5s are both reach able in two shots. You really wont see another test until you reach the par 3 11th hole, which is straight downhill, and has a hidden pond behind the green do not miss long. The rest of the round mirrors the front nine, and scoring is everywhere. If you can avoid the water and find the fairway, you will have no issues during your visit. ?
