    Rocky River Golf Course Review

The track by the track. Rocky River runs alongside the Charlotte Motor Speedway, and offers a plethora of amazing views. Rocky River is also home to the University of Charlotte Golf team, and they boast a very healthy practice facility equipped with two chipping greens and an indoor hitting bay. The golf course offers tee to green Bermuda, and a number of doglegs to capture any golfers eye.

The practice facilities at Rocky River are second to none. Beginning with the immaculate driving range that holds around 60 people, and beautiful views of the Charlotte motor speedway. On a race day, you can actually hear into the stadium, which provides a quite unique atmosphere. Located on the back portion of the driving range is one of the best practice facilities in all of Charlotte. Whether you would like to work on your chipping and bunker play, or just knock a few putts around, you will be able to do it all here. If that was not enough for you, then you can move to the covered hitting area and have your swing analyzed from every different angle.

Once you move on to the course, you will be greeted with Bermuda throughout. As the case with many courses in the Carolinas, Rocky River has transitioned to Bermuda Greens, and it was a home run. The greens are immaculate, and have amazing pace, which is a golfers paradise. Aside from the amazing greens, the area around the golf course is stunning. From the amazing views of the Race Track, to the river that runs through the front nine, Rocky River provides golfers with outstanding photo opportunities. The par 5 18th hole runs back towards the clubhouse, and provides golfers with a great close to the round, and some amazing pictures as well.
