Quail Hollow Club Golf Course Review

The Quail Hollow Club can be described as a bastion of Southern power, both in terms of golf and wealth and after its latest restoration it become a true championship-grade venue for the twenty first century. Sitting on a beautiful piece of real estate in Charlotte, North Carolina, the Quail Hollow Club is an enjoyable golfing facility which welcomes players of all skill levels, offering them a great opportunity to spend a day enjoying the Southern traditions along with playing an awesome round of golf on a scenic yet challenging golf course. After the golf course had some trouble with the greens in the recent years, today theyre back in great condition. Around here, it is said, let me quote: if greatness has a home, thats the Quail Hollow Club and thats because of the illustrious names involved in its inception.

The story starts way back in 1961, when architect George Cobb delivered the golf course at Quail Hollow Club, using 257 acres of property which were previously pertaining to a local dairy farm, transforming it into a top-tier golf course. Arnold Palmer contributed to the overall design and layout of Quail Hollow Club in 1986, together with Ed Seay (in the same year) and lastly Tom Fazio worked his magic here in 1997. The golf course at Quail Hollow Club is widely regarded by many as one of the finest facilities in the South-Eastern United States and thats mostly due to George Cobbs genius, who managed to capture the beauty of the Piedmont region and to build a challenging yet incredibly attractive golf course that will put a smile on your face every time you play it.
