Bentley is a global luxury brand that rhymes with opulence and it’s specialized in selling mostly overpriced cars. Okay, we’re just being obnoxious, but if you take a look at Bentley’s latest offer, which seems to be tailored to fit Saudi royalty standards, or, why not, Russian oligarchs, you’ll understand what we’re talking about. More precisely, we’re talking about a set of golf clubs to match your Bentley. And obviously, that stands true in terms of both branding and price. And since you asked, the retail price is $16,000. Okay, we admit, if you’re already a Bentley owner, $16,000 doesn’t sound like much.
What’s important about these clubs is that they celebrate the company’s 100th anniversary, and, on top of that, they make for a limited edition of sorts, which means their price is going to shoot up through the roof in the near future, i.e. you can see these babies as a long-term investment of sorts, especially if you’re a golf paraphernalia collector. Another interesting factoid is that each club in the set costs more than 1000 bucks and it’s blacked out. If you’re wondering about design issues, Bentley’s latest collection is inspired from their new Continental GT car, and all the clubs in the set feature Centenary Gold accents.
Only 100 sets will be made by Bentley’s contractor (we don’t know who builds these clubs by the way), and each set (bag respectively) will be marked with its own unique creation number, the first being obviously 001/100. Now, after all is said and done, the truth is that Bentley is pretty far from selling the most expensive golf clubs. For example, Honma’s 5 Star Beres will cost you $75,000 per set. At 16,000 dollars, Bentley’s exquisite and beautifully designed clubs sounds like the deal of the century, right?
