Speaking of raising the standards, Puma Golf just did that, literally, with their latest release: the High Heel golf shoe for lady golfers; more precisely, what we’re dealing with here is Puma’s latest Ignite PWRADAPT range of golf shoes, which obviously are specifically designed for lady golfers. This very “out of the box” golf shoe for women golfers features a micro-fiber synthetic leather upper, along with a low cut vamp, a covered platform sole and a cool peep toe styling.
If you were wondering how on earth can a lady play a decent round of golf on high heels, rest assured, as Puma’s outlandish shoe comes with a smartly designed outsole, that boasts state of the art tridimensional traction pods (seven on each shoe), which provide excellent traction on any type of turf, while responding to the foot’s natural movement during the swing, for providing balance and comfort. The upper of the shoe is crafted from a combo of patent leather and waterproof leather, and it’s backed by Puma’s 1 year waterproof guarantee. According to Lexi Thompson, Cobra Puma’s staffer, she’ll wear the Cell Fusion High Heel on the LPGA Tour later in April, to make a statement of sorts, and why not, to see if they work. Joke aside, here’s what she told us:
“I can’t wait to get into these. They look so great. I tried them on the range recently and they provide far more stability than you’d expect by looking at them.”
They look sexy indeed. Here’s from Puma Golf:
“We are excited to have unveiled the first ever ladies golf shoe with a heel. They will not only inspire our lady golfers with confidence but will offer them extreme traction from all lies around the course.”
