Lanto Griffin is an American golf-pro who’s currently playing on the PGA Tour. Lanto was born in California, yet he moved with his family to Virginia when he was very young. While attending Virginia Commonwealth University, he played college golf and earned the title of 2009 Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Year. One year later, in 2010 respectively, he turned professional. In 2015 and 2016, Lanto played on PGA Tour Latinoamerica, and he won the Roberto De Vicenzo Punta del Este Open Copa NEC. In the same year, he won the Virginia Open.

Since 2017, Lanto Griffin started playing on the Web.com Tour and he won the Nashville Golf Open. After finishing 23rd on the Web.com Tour money list, he secured his PGA Tour card for the current season, 2017-2018 respectively. During his golf career, Lanto amassed almost $400 thousand in earnings and he’s currently ranked 34th on 2017 Web.com Tour priority list. Besides golf, he enjoys cooking, working out and hanging out with his buddies.
