Byeong Hun An is a golf-pro from South Korea and he’s known for becoming the youngest golfer to win the U.S. Amateur back in 2009. His English name is Ben and he moved to the United States in 2005, as he was attending the David Leadbetter Golf Academy in Bradenton, Florida, where he became known as Ben An. At 17, Byeong Hun An won the US Amateur at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma, thus becoming the youngest-ever winner of such an event. His debut in the PGA took place in 2010, where he played the Arnold Palmer Invitational, and two weeks later he also played in The Masters.
After turning pro, Byeong Hun An won his first title as a professional golfer on the Challenge Tour event at the Rolex Trophy and one year later, he also won the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth. Besides golf, Hun An loves computer games, soccer and Manchester United.
