Dear Thomas Golf
It only takes me 2 or 3 hits to know if I have a good club, and yours is as good as they come. Super feel, great distance, excellent accuracy, and easy to draw or fade. In my first 18 holes using it, I was one under. On one hole, my drive with it was as long as any I have ever hit on that hole. On two holes where I had a slight miss hit (heel), I was still in the fairway and got routine pars. I would say on average this mini-driver is 10 yards shorter than my 460 cc M1, but then again, the shaft is 2 inches shorter. We all have egos and want as much distance as possible, but today I would give up 10 yards of distance for 10 yards of straighter accuracy. I could write a lot more about this club, but I think I just want to congratulate you on both the head and shaft in this club. Excellent golf club. I am looking forward to trying some of your other clubs.
I have been a scratch golfer most of my life, but the passing years and lack of play catch up. Today, I am as likely to shoot 85 as I am a 75. My swing speed is about 105, maybe 110 on a warm day, and I can still move the ball 300 yds. My goal this year is to shoot my age – 68. I think your club is going to help me achieve that goal. Thanks for making golf more interesting and fun.
