Featuring the aforementioned 460 cc pear profile, updated technologies and being available in a wide variety of stock shaft options, the Titleist 915 D2 Driver an excellent option for the average golf player, especially when it comes to tee shots.

Basically, if you're an aspiring average golfer looking to improve his game, this baby is a top performer, if you're ready to invest your money at the top end of the market. If you're a Titleist aficionado, you'll surely enjoy the driver's minimalistic design, with its classic black crown featuring a nice metal flake in it, and the signature alignment arrow, which is simple and effective. The driver's 460 cc head has a large foot print and it's relatively flat, but what makes it stand out from other over-sized and forgiving driver heads is its pear shape design. The face has an excellent, forgiving feel and it also feels springy upon ball impact. The Titleist 915 D2 Driver comes with the Aldila Rogue shaft, which clearly makes a difference in terms of performance (in a good way). The face of the D2 is as hot as it gets, due to the newest Active Recoil Channel, a Titleist proprietary technology. After playing a few rounds with the Titleist 915 D2 Driver on the golf course, I found it to be a really exciting piece of golf gear, one of the best drivers out there for the average golfer and very easy to recommend.
