The Callaway Strata Tour Advanced Golf Ball retails for $19,99 (MSRP) a dozen and it's a relatively soft ball featuring a three piece construction with Tour level performance, despite its soft feeling upon impact. The Strata Tour Advanced comes with an interesting melange of great feel and total control around the greens due to its unique built, which consists of an unique blend of ionomers, courtesy of Callaway's research and development team.
The mantle layer is very thin and soft, being made from a DuPont HPF material which promotes a soft feel and maximizes ball speed. The core of the Callaway Strata Tour Advanced is hugely resilient and large, featuring a soft compression for promoting excellent levels of speed and spin control, for straighter shots and long distance, together with low spin off the driver. The three piece Strata technology is responsible for the ball's Tour level performance and it's specially designed for producing faster ball speeds for greater distance, whilst keeping that soft feel we all know and love in premium golf gear. All these features work together synergically, without compromising distance in the process, and that's an amazing achievement for a golf ball in Callaway Strata Tour Advanced's price range. Bottom line, if you're seeking for Tour proven performance, spin control, soft feel and distance in the “best bang for the buck” category, the Callaway Strata Tour Advanced is very easy to recommend, regardless of your skill level. Just try it and thank me later.
