Korea’s Seung Noh was a top Korean amateur player, winning both the Korean Amateur and the Korean Junior Amateur in 2005.  He became a professional golfer in 2007 and made it through qualifying school to join the Asia Tour. 
 
In 2008, he collected his first professional win at the Midea China Classic by one shot over Terry Pilkadaris.  He won the Asian Tour Rookie of the Year honors for 2008.
 
Two years later, Seung would go to the winner’s circle again when he captured the Maybank Malaysian Open – an event co-sanctioned between the Asian and European Tours.  That victory helped Seung win the 2010 Asian Tour money list.
 
Seung attended the PGA Tour’s qualifying school tournament in December 2011.  He had a great week, finished tied for 3rd, and secured full playing privileges for the 2012 PGA season.
 
Seung had a successful first season the PGA Tour.   He finished 49th on the money list, easily retaining his card for the 2013 season. 
 
The next season brought more challenges for Seung.  He finished outside the top 150 and was forced to play in the Web.com Tour finals in an attempt to secure full PGA Tour privileges for the 2014 season.  Seung played solidly at the Web.com event, finishing in 4th place, regaining his card for 2014.
 
Seung got his breakthrough PGA win in 2014 at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.  Seung took early control of the tournament with an opening round 65.  He finished the week 19 under par and defeated Robert Streb and Andrew Svoboda by two shots.
