Bradley played college golf at the University of Oklahoma before turning pro in 1988. At the start of his career, Bradley played on the Canadian Tour, winning twice as well as shooting a round of 59 in an event. He won a PGA Tour card for the first time after qualifying through Q School in 1992. He played 26 times in his rookie season, making the cut on 14 occassions. His sole top 10 came at the Kemper Open where he was a tie for 3rd place. He finished his rookie year 121st on the money list. He became one of a few players to shoot a round of 63 in a Major Championship. He achieved the feat at the 1995 PGA Championship where he ended the week in a tie for 54th.

He captured his first PGA Tour win in 1996 at the Buick Challenge. The event was reduced to 36 holes due to inclement weather and he had to defeat four players in a play-off for the title. He also finished runner-up at the Doral-Ryder Open and had two 3rd places. He ended the year a career best 20th on the money list. Bradley’s second Tour win came in 1998 at the Doral-Ryder Open. He finished a single shot ahead of John Huston and Billy Mayfair to claim the win.

Bradley would lose his card after the 2000 season and would not regain it until 2008. He bridged an eleven year gap when he won the Puerto Rico Open in 2009. This was his sole top 10 of the season and gave him a valuable two year Tour exemption. Bradley would go on to win the same event in 2011. He shot 68 in all four rounds and beat fellow American Troy Matteson in a play-off. Bradley lost his card once the two year exemption ran out in 2013.
