Born in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, in 1973, Bohn was studying at the University of Alabama when he scored a hole in one at a charity fundraiser in 1992. The hole in one was worth $1 million and Bohn immediately gave up his amateur status and golf scholarship to turn professional. Three years later Bohn graduated from college.
Bohn began playing on both the Canadian Tour and the Nationwide Tour. He won on the Canadian Tour in 2001, at the Bayer Championship. Bohn earned his promotion to the PGA Tour, where he started playing in 2004. The following year he won the BC Open on the PGA Tour.
After losing in a playoff at the Wyndham Championship in 2009, Bohn went on to win the Zurich Classic of New Orleans the following year. He birdied three out of the last four holes to do so. Bohn scored a round of 61 at the Greenbrier Classic in July 2015; his lowest round so far, on the PGA Tour.
As of the end of 2014, Bohn had achieved two wins on the PGA Tour, amassing total prize money of $12,124,099.
