Bwana Bo
During Bo’s annual physical, the doctor asked him to describe his activities on a typical day.
“Well, doc, here’s what I did yesterday afternoon,” Bo began. “I waded at the edge of a rocky lake, evaded a pack of mongrels in the brush, scrambled up and down a number of rugged hills, climbed an oak tree and encountered a 6-foot rattlesnake.”
“Wow,” the doctor exclaimed, clearly impressed. “You sound like quite the outdoorsman.”
“No,” Bo replied, “just a really lousy golfer.”
While the Cat’s Away…
Arnold answered the phone. It was his boss, Alex.
“How are things going at the office?” Alex asked.
“Going great, boss,” Arnold said enthusiastically. “It’s been hectic, for sure, but the crew is on top of everything.”
“Good to hear,” Alex said. “Hey Arnold, can you do me a favor?”
“Anything you need, boss,” Arnold replied. “How can I help you?”
“Can you pick up the pace a little?” Alex said. “I’m in the threesome right behind you.”
