Inniscrone Golf Club Course Review

The Inniscrone Golf Club is a public golf course located in Avondale, Pennsylvania, sitting on a beautiful piece of property owned by London Grove Township. The design wears the signature of architect Gil Hanse and it makes for an eighteen-hole championship golf course, which is aimed at delivering a pure golf experience to its visitors. To describe it in just a few words, Id say that Inniscrone makes for a tough yet incredibly beautiful ride, a walk to remember (pun intended) as the architect was asked (and he managed to do it) to preserve the epic topography of the terrain upon which the golf course was built (an old farm site). And Hanse did just that with flying colors, creating a unique golf course which features uneven lies and plenty of hills, being a mlange of straightforward and quirky holes, with no 2 holes being remotely similar.

Also, dont let the metrics fool you, i.e. despite its official 6561 yards of golf, the Inniscrone golf course plays much longer, due to the fact that its a 70 par and some of the holes are pretty short, leaving a few par-fours that are both exacting and long. Also, several short holes are playing uphill, adding an effective 50 yards to the final figure. The golf course design was inspired by the original Inniscrone located in England (Avondale) and it starts out relatively easy, but it gets increasingly difficult as you play along. Bottom line, if you want to experience a golf journey youll never forget, the Inniscrone is very easy to recommend!
