    Bandon Dunes Golf Course Review

The Bandon Dunes Golf Course is one of the top 100 golf courses in the world and it can be described by some as the Mecca of golf players. This beautiful piece of real estate is aimed at helping you enjoy the game as it was meant to be. There's a 60 acres Practice Center that will help you with refining every possible shot . Also, you'll have the opportunity to train on the Punchbowl, a great putting course built and designed by Tom Doak and Jim Urbina, which is adjacent to the Pacific Dunes, a place that combines an epic scenery (it's near the ocean) with the opportunity to refine your skills. There are also 6 lounges and restaurants, together with various accommodations , offering you a peaceful escape where you can sit back, relax and rest before or after playing your favorite game. To reach the Bandon Dunes Golf Course from Portland you'll have to take a 4 hour drive and while at it, you'll be enjoying the epic Highway 101 on your way.

To describe the Bandon Dunes Golf Course in just a few words, I must tell you that it makes for one of the best walking-golf experiences in the world. Fair warning, being located on the Oregon coast, you should be prepared for unexpected rain, so pack up your gear to suit all weather conditions. Another thing that must be taken for granted at Bandon Dunes Golf Course is the wind, which makes its presence felt all year round. On this course, wind is an integral part of the experience, so be prepared for that too. Since Bandon Dunes Golf Course is a walking only resort for providing an experience of golf as it was meant to be (that's the motto), the place also offers an excellent caddie program, which is available both for amateurs and professionals. The service is as good as it gets and the best thing about the Bandon Dunes Golf Course in my view is the spectacular Oregon coast, making for an unforgettable experience.
