TPC at Piper Glen Course Review

An absolute gem in the heart of Charlotte, NC. Piper Glen truly has it all; amazing golf course, immaculate club house, excellent amenities, and a practice facility that any tour player would stay on for days.

The practice facilities at Piper Glen are second to none, and stick true to the name, Tour Players Course. Packed with a massive driving range, multiple chipping greens, and a giant putting green, you have it all here. Whether you are looking to spend a few hours working on your bunker play, or you just want to putt around for a while, you have no issues at all while at Piper Glen.

The club house is one of the most immaculate buildings I have ever been inside. While at Piper Glen you have a multitude of dining options, beginning with the casual lounge suitable for a quick bite after your round. If you are staying for dinner, dont pass up on the main dining hall, which is absolutely stunning.

The golf course at Piper Glen is truly amazing. When you step on the first tee you get the feeling that you are about to take a journey through one of Charlottes masterpieces. This Arnold Palmer design with carefully crafted with a stunning layout of creeks, rivers, and even quiet coves throughout the lake. This course is not known for its length, sitting at just under 6,900 yards, but it is actually known for its playability. Palmer designed this course to fit any golfers eye, rather than just designing the new-age long ball course. Beware, Pipe Glen does have some of its own natural defenses, with the creeks and rivers carefully guarding more than one hole throughout the round. With the addition of multiple bunkers, it does make for a bit of a challenge if you do not keep it in the fairway off the tee.
