And then, obviously, theres the Mountaintop Golf Course itself, where Tom Fazio took advantage of the terrains high elevation for creating breathtaking and challenging holes. The layout is not very difficult, yet its pretty far from being a pushover.

If youre going to miss a putt it will be on your own mistake, not the conditioning of the green. The architect did not overlook a single detail when designing the Mountaintop Golf Course, which is one of the most beautiful Ive ever played, boasting its fast sloping greens which are in impeccable shape and the steep elevation changes, all these combined with breathtaking views on almost every tee box. The Mountaintop Golf Course can be described as any golfers dream where youll spend a great time in a fabulous location, i.e. Cashiers, North Carolina. Just remember that Tom Fazio is widely regarded as the finest golf course architect of modern times and he crafted a true gem at Mountaintop, a course which follows seamlessly the natural topography and takes full advantage of the beauty and the challenges presented by the dramatic landscape, i.e. the sweeping views, the majestic hardwoods and the natural springs.
