    Inwood Country Club Course Review

The Inwood Country Club is one of the oldest in the US, being founded way back in 1901 and it was designed by architects Edward Eriksen, Herbert Strong and Tom Doak. The golf course itself features 6647 yards of golf from its longest tees for a 71 par and its most striking characteristic in this writers opinion, is the oddly charming routing job. I am talking about the early-on 3 consecutive par 5s which are immediately followed by a couple of par 3s, whilst a sense of legacy will permeate the rest of your round, down to the latest hole.

To describe it in a few words, the Inwood Country Club is a true family oasis where you can enjoy a great game just twenty miles from Manhattan, being a privately owned resort available for its members and their guests only. Sitting on a wonderful piece of property on the South Shore of Long Island, the Inwood Country Club also offers its visitors top notch amenities, such as a high end Fitness Center, an Atlantic Ocean Beach Club, tennis courts and suites/rooms for its members and guest who desire to spend the summer there. It must be noted that while playing here, youll be enjoying terrific views together with a challenging game of golf, regardless of your skill level. Youll also be impressed by the perfectly groomed greens and fairways and the highly trained and friendly staff, which is always there to help you with tips and tricks for achieving a perfect round of golf.
