The golf course at the Ridge At Back Brook is built with a sole purpose in mind: golf, in its purest form. The Ridge At Back Brook is a traditional golf only facility, located West of New York City, being the brainchild of Joel Moore, who seeked to create a club focused on making golf great again so to speak, in the parlance of our times. There are no tennis courts, no residences, no pool, as everything is focused on golf on this world class golf course which also provides its members with a world class practice facility, not to mention the impeccable conditioning. Moore built the course at Ridge At Back Brook with a little help from his friend, the famous architect Tom Fazio. The Ridge At Back Brook features a 7156 yards layout from its longest tees and its located in New Jersey, on a beautiful piece of real estate 60 miles west of the Big Apple. The most prominent features of the Ridge At Back Brook are a ridge and a brook (hence its name) that run through the golf course. Founded in 2002 and designed by the world famous golf architect Tom Fazio, the Ridge At Back Brook features 7156 yards of golf for a 72 par and its located at Ringoes, New Jersey.

Joel Moore managed to find 300 acres of pristine land, untouched by time and man, a jaw dropping piece of property where the terrain rises and falls, then becomes thick with lush forests and ribboned with streams and rivers. Talking about paradisiac locations, the Ridge At Back Brook has it all. Everything is focused on golf here, making for a casual and unique atmosphere, very serious about the game and boasting exceptional practice facilities, with a separate bunker/short game areas, lots of practice greens and even a separate teaching tee. The terrain has it all, ranging from elevation changes to huge specimen trees, woods, rock outcroppings and streams. As soon as the Ridge At Back Brook opened, it was an instant hit, with Golf Digest naming it the best new golf course east of the Mississippi as per 2003 and sixth best in the United States.
