The Bent Pine Golf Club sits on a beautiful location in Vero Beach, Florida and it offers a par of 72, featuring 6735 yards of golf from the longest tee, a slope rating of 127 on Bermuda grass and a course rating of 71.5. Metrics aside, the Bent Pine Golf Club was first opened to players in 1979 and it was designed by architect Joseph L. Lee. Keep in mind that what we're dealing with here is a private golf course, a golf only facility which has a policy of members only/reciprocity, with an all year round season, due to the area's mild climate. The fairways feature Bermuda grass while the greens are TifEagle Grass. The Bent Pine Golf Club provides a great layout to play along and an attractive design, being one of the finest in the area and always kept in an impeccable shape. The holes are challenging yet fair, but the sheer beauty of this golf course will make you understand why the Bent Pine Golf Club is among the top ten of the 845 courses in Florida.

This club was originally created for being very intimate and as private as humanly possible and features a policy of keeping it uncrowded enough for being able to afford no structured tee times. The idea behind the Bent Pine Golf Club's design was to create a championship-grade course featuring strategically placed bunkers, rolling fairways and nothing short of challenging greens. Also, the Bent Pine made history in rural Vero Beach, being the first golf course to be built on the sand ridge. This decision was brave and somewhat risky, but the Bent Pine Golf Club's founder managed to venture on this undeveloped (at the time) piece of real state, where very few people lived and to create a beautiful golf facility.
