Why Should You Stay Behind The Ball During A Golf Tee Shot (Video) - by Peter Finch

In the modern game where courses are getting longer, there is more of a premium on successful tee shots. And one of the key areas that you need to get right is your ability to stay behind the ball when you're hitting tee shots. Now staying behind the ball is, it sounds simple but there's lots of different part of that kind of sentence. So what we're going to do within this video series is look at what staying behind the ball means on tee shots, the benefits that it will actually give, and what you should be seeing as far as the differences in ball flight and go.

Because staying behind the golf ball will allow you to hit up on the drive more. It should allow you to get further distances. It should allow you to hit higher, more launching drives as well. There's lots of improvements that can be made by including this as part of your technique. So what we're going to do is we're going to look at all the different facets that that involves, and then give you some drills that you can use to hopefully implement it into your game.
