What are the key take away and back swing check points to hit sweet golf hybrid shots? Now in the back swing and in the take away, it's very important to hit certain position so you know your swing is moving along the right path and along the right plane. Now there are a couple of really, really easy ones that you can do straight away to make sure you move it along the right path and along the right plane. Now what you want to be doing is getting yourself set up to the ball in a solid posture position.

And as you take the club away you want to be moving it nice and long and low and slow to the ground allowing the shoulders to turn and allowing the club to rise into this position here. Where the shaft is parallel to the ground, the left arm is straight and when viewed from this rear kind of position here that club head is in front of my hands. Now you actually see here that the top of the club is kind of pointing up to the sky and the leading edge of the club is level with my spine ankle. Now if I can get into that position I know I've got the right path back but I also know my club face is in a nice square position as well. From there I can turn my shoulders then my wrist hinge and get into this position here where the putter end of the club points down towards my target line down towards my ball. If I can hit those two positions there I know that I have my practice good and my back swing is nicely on plane. And then you can just practice those positions and if you can practice those positions, all you need then is a little bit more turn and you have very sweet shots. So just practice taking it back, then hinging up, hitting those two positions and you should be out to hit very sweet shots. So take your hybrids, putt down to the range, practice those two positions and hopefully the sweet shots will follow.
