Wrist Hinge Helps Prevent Backing up Bunker Shots by Tom Stickney Tom Stickney - A Top 100 Golf Teacher Tom Stickney – A Top 100 Golf Teacher

Hi I'm Tom Stickney Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor and today I want to talk to you about wrist hinge in the bunker and your angle of attack. A lot of times I see people come in here a little nervous in the bunker a little uptight and they say take it back it's not a lot of wrist hinge. When there is not a lot of wrist hinge you come into a very shallow which means if you back up any throw your hands out in your what have you can hit it fat or you also get the shooter that goes over the back of the green.

So remember in the bunkers we need a little bit a wrist hinge so we can go down to that golf ball a little bit better. So here we go everything set up correctly on the wrist hinge get the ball out accordingly. So remember get a little bit of wrist hinge in the bunker don't get quite so tight so tense because if you do that you can actually get back to a low not get out of the wrist hinge you will have a lot of trouble.
